For everyone who faved my SPN wallpapers or Devwatched me because of them, I'm so sorry. They've all been deleted due to copyright violations. Which I find immeasurably sad and frustrating. I credited most of the images I used when I made them but apparently that wasn't enough.
I guess I won't be uploading any more wallpapers here.

So I saw Star Trek and I loved it!
I wouldn't call myself a Trekkie but I used to watch the Next Generation quite a bit and I love the originals. Bones has always been my favourite character from the originals and Karl Urban did a spectacular job- I loved him!

It really drew me right in- within 10 minutes I was crying. I was like- how did this movie suck me in so fast?! I don't cry at movies- especially not the beginnings of movies!! No fair! It was pretty intense. And I loved Spock too. He's never been one of my faves but I think I may have to change my mind.

And I loved how they set it up so that they can do anything now. The sequel could go in any direction, they're not bound by anything!

Oh and on a sidenote, I've become addicted to the song Halo by Beyonce because of a Star Trek fanvid I found!

So I've been rewatching Season 1 of SPN and I now realize exactly why I don't like Sam as much as I like Dean (not that I hate him!).

But Sam really acts like a spoiled child sometimes. As evidenced by his whole tantrum in Scarecrow. He gets in a tiffy because Dean obeys John without question. Dean trusts his father, I guess Sam doesn't. I can understand him being frustrated with John's mysteriousness.

But then he deliberately turns his back on a hunt where he knows for a fact that 2 people are going to die unless they do something. He does it to pursue his own personal vendetta/quest. Which is bad enough- but more than that he sets off with little hope of success. There's no way in hell he's going to find John from just a Sacramento area code. #1 That's not a lot of info. #2 John doesn't want to be found. #3 By the time he hitchhikes/buses his way there the trail will be ice cold.
So basically he was being a brat. IMO.

At least he came to his senses and realized that he should stick with the only family he's got.

I'm so tired. I didn't get home from work until the AM last night. If I'm going to stay out that late I should at least be able to get drunk! I mean, I feel like I have a hangover. And my back hurts. Great job [insert name of employers] for organizing our workload so efficiently!
And of course I couldn't relax at first so I stayed up even later trying to unwind- and I was out of beer! Why didn't I pick up that 6pack when I had.... the........

So on Fanpop we're having a viewing party, starting with season 1 of Supernatural. We're watching the episodes together and spending three days on them, discussing them, making stuff for them etc. It's lots of fun. So you'll be seeing a great many episodic wallpapers from me in the months to come. I've decided to make at least one wp for each episode- but so far I've been making more than one! Usually it depends on how well I liked the episode.
